What is your role at Platinum Woodworking, and how long have you been with the team?

I founded Platinum Woodworking back in 2011. Over the last 15 years, I've guided our growth from general custom carpentry into a full custom cabinet shop, focusing on creating high-quality, standout pieces for our clients' homes.

What got you into woodworking or craftsmanship, and what is your favorite type of project to build?

My true passion has always been cabinetry, precision woodworking, and custom closets. There is nothing better than taking a design from paper and turning it into a beautiful, functional centerpiece that completely transforms a homeowner's space.

What is one thing you love about working with Platinum Woodworking?

Our name and reputation are built entirely on our results, and I love that our whole team shares that standard. We aren't finished until a homeowner is completely satisfied, and seeing a client's excitement when a project comes together makes it all worth it.

When you are not on a job site or in the shop, what can we find you doing?

When I'm not clocked in, which isn't much! You can usually find me out on the soccer field watching my kids play, or tackling projects around the yard and house. I love being outside as much as possible and spending time with my family.

What is your role at Platinum Woodworking, and how long have you been with the team?

I specialize in bringing custom projects to life from scratch, handling every single step of the process from raw wood to the final finish. I recently graduated from high school and have been working with the team part-time, but I’m incredibly excited to transition into a full-time role here in the shop very soon!

What got you into woodworking or craftsmanship, and what is your favorite type of project to build?

My passion for building started right at home, working on small projects around the house with my dad. I’ve loved working with my hands since I was a kid. While I enjoy crafting just about anything, I have a real sweet spot for unique, intricate projects that require fine detail and absolute precision.

What is one thing you love about working with Platinum Woodworking?

Without a doubt, it’s the crew and the great energy we have in the shop. It’s incredibly rewarding to come to work every day alongside a group of guys who genuinely care about their craft and keep the environment positive, collaborative, and fun.

When you are not on a job site or in the shop, what can we find you doing?

When I’m off the clock, I like to keep moving. You’ll usually find me out riding my dirtbike or motorcycle, catching a live concert, going for a run, or just kicking back and spending quality time with friends and family.

What is your role at Platinum Woodworking, and how long have you been with the team?

I serve as the Production Manager, overseeing our daily shop operations. My focus is on keeping every project moving smoothly from the initial concept to the final completion, ensuring we always deliver the top-tier quality and craftsmanship our clients expect.

What got you into woodworking or craftsmanship, and what is your favorite type of project to build?

I started out as a general contractor, but over time, I discovered my true passion belonged in fine finish work and custom woodworking. I love projects that challenge me to think creatively and solve unique design puzzles. My absolute favorite builds are the one-of-a-kind custom pieces where every single detail matters.

What is one thing you love about working with Platinum Woodworking?

What I enjoy most is being part of a team that truly values quality and customer satisfaction. Taking raw materials and turning them into a beautiful finished piece that becomes a central part of someone's home is an amazing feeling. We have an incredible team culture here, and it's great to work with people who take massive pride in what they do.

When you are not on a job site or in the shop, what can we find you doing?

I believe in giving every project my absolute best, but I also place a huge value on a healthy work-life balance. When I’m off, I love spending time with my family, playing hockey, and getting out on the golf course to recharge my batteries so I can come back sharp.

What got you into woodworking or craftsmanship, and what is your favorite type of project to build?

While I’m not building in the shop, I love building the framework that helps our team succeed. My favorite "projects" involve streamlining our workflows, organizing processes, and creating a seamless, stress-free experience for both our team and our clients.

What is one thing you love about working with Platinum Woodworking?

The people and the culture. Everyone here is deeply committed to high-quality work and holding themselves accountable, but we also look out for each other. I love being part of a team that truly values craftsmanship, continuous growth, and mutual support.

You’ll usually find me spending quality time with my family, especially my son. We love traveling, trying out new restaurants, exploring new places, or just catching a movie together. Finding that perfect work-life balance keeps me motivated and energized!
