Dean
Founder & Master Craftsman
Dean Rovedo Jr. founded Platinum Woodworking in 2011, growing the business over the years from a general custom carpentry company into a full-scale custom cabinet shop. While the company initially handled a wide range of carpentry projects, Dean’s passion for cabinetry, woodworking, and custom closets ultimately shaped the direction of the business.
Today, Platinum Woodworking specializes in creating beautiful, functional cabinetry and closets designed to become lasting features of a homeowner’s space. Dean enjoys taking an idea from an initial concept or drawing and turning it into a finished product that combines practical function with thoughtful design. Every project receives careful attention from the design stage through installation, with quality workmanship and attention to detail guiding the process.
Platinum Woodworking’s reputation has been built on the results delivered for its customers. Dean believes a project is not complete until the homeowner is genuinely satisfied with the finished work, and that commitment continues to influence how each project is approached.
When he is not working in the shop or overseeing a project, Dean enjoys spending time outdoors, working on projects around his own yard, and cheering on his kids from the sidelines of the soccer field. Whether you have a detailed vision or simply an idea you would like to explore, Platinum Woodworking is ready to help bring it to life.
Wyatt
Custom Builder & Artisan
Wyatt specializes in bringing custom projects to life from scratch, masterfully handling every single step of the process from raw wood to the final finish. Having recently graduated from high school, he is thrilled to be transitioning from his part-time role into a full-time position right here in the shop. His passion for working with his hands started early by building projects alongside his dad, and today he has a real sweet spot for unique, intricate builds that require fine detail and absolute precision. Wyatt loves the collaborative, high-energy vibe of the shop floor and working with a crew that genuinely cares about the craft. Outside of work, he keeps moving by riding his dirtbike, hitting live concerts, running, or just kicking back with friends and family.
Hannah
Executive Assistant & Operations Driver
Hannah serves as the Executive Assistant and General Virtual Assistant to Dean Rovedo Jr., providing the strategic operational support and backend framework that keeps the business structured, organized, and running at a high level. While she isn’t building physical pieces in the shop, her favorite “projects” involve streamlining workflows, managing client communications, and creating a seamless, stress-free experience behind the scenes. She loves being part of a growth-minded culture where the entire team holds themselves to a high standard of accountability and mutual support. To keep her motivated and energized, Hannah prioritizes a great work-life balance, spending her time traveling, exploring new restaurants, and making memories with her son.
Mariah
Cabinetry & Manufacturing
Mariah helps build and manufacture cabinetry, closets, and other custom furniture pieces at Platinum Woodworking. She first got into woodworking through her high school trade program, where she was introduced to the cabinet shop. Her favorite type of project to build is kitchen cabinets because she enjoys creating pieces that are both functional and well-crafted. Mariah loves being part of a team that values dedication and quality work, and she appreciates the supportive environment at Platinum Woodworking where everyone genuinely cares about one another. When she’s not in the shop, you’ll find her relaxing and spending time with her family and friends in Massachusetts.
